100th Subscriber, Book Cover and Chi O Convention
Sometimes in my life, I have only known that a day was a major milestone in hindsight. Some are more obvious; the birth of our sons, marriage, bid days. Yes, bid day was a major milestone day in my life and changed my life’s trajectory, without a doubt.
Yet there are others, the day you met your future best friends, the day your husband brought a stray puppy home or the day that you get let go from a job that you don’t know were actually great days, until later.
However, yesterday, was a milestone day that I got to savor every second in real time. Like so many fun milestone days in my life, it was surrounded by my sisters including my favorite new Chi Omega sister, my future daughter in law, Emily Armour. We drove to Orlando to attend Chi Omega’s national convention together for the first time. That, alone, could make it an amazing milestone day but it did not end there.
While Emily was driving, my publisher sent me mock ups for my book cover! Wow. I had to share it with husband and sons and others virtually, but Emily was there for it and I got to savor it with some of my other sisters from across the nation that I have grown close with as we help raise money for our endowment campaign; Ever at Heart.

Then, just when I thought the day could not get any better, I see in my email that I got a new subscriber to my blog post. Thank you Devin! You were my 100th subscriber and I love that you were my 100th subscriber!
It was a great day and the convention fun is only beginning. Did I mention that we are staying at the Ritz in Orlando? So I’m going to log off now and savor it! Hope to see some poll votes come in from poolside! Thank you for your support of this reluctant blogger who is now loving every minute of being an author!
